Soft, sacred, & slow. Warmth in the cold.

Nothing has made my heart happier recently than opening new deliveries of what I know to be experimental film scans from the lab. I refresh my page at least three times a day. It feels like receiving an extra surprise gift on my birthday, uncovering a lost heirloom, or discovering a new love song that has not yet been consumed by the world. Something intimate ready to be shared and celebrated.

~AT LAST~Sharing ten of my favorite landscapes and clips from this collaboration with @atlasrhoads.

Having known their music for months before even coming up with this concept, I resonated mostly with how much peace and connection I felt while listening to their works. I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of souls at rest in a stressful world to match the dreaminess and humility this band already emulates. An abandoned tower in a field in the middle of Swannanoa, VA accomplished just that; along with perfect light, weather, timing, & vibes that can only be explained and credited to the One who created it. Honored to have a small hand in the bigger picture of it all for this group.

A little slide-through thanks to @canvasrebel providing an opportunity to reintroduce myself going into 2025! I opened up about my goals and reflections from the past year, and I hope it can inspire others to do the same.

This year I want to:
~Take on 3 special projects outside of anything I have ever created before.
~Finish and present my portfolio and completed website (stay tuned!)
~Travel to 3 new places I have never been for pleasure outside of work.
~Continue to pray on and ruminate my purpose and place for this small business I love so much. 🕊️

Blessed to say I am now booking for 2026! I can’t wait to see what we come up with.

Gratitude upon gratitude for another year’s worth of stories told. 2024 held some heavier chapters; the kind that make you pause and question where the plot is going. And some incredible ones; the kind that make you turn the page again to see what’s next. If I could hug each and every one of you for the support & love I have been shown through all of the growing pains this year, I would. Thank you for trusting me with your memories & the reminders that these are absolutely the best parts.
